You may have been amazed by the spectacular performances of drone swarms, but you've probably never witnessed the unique show put on by a group of robot dogs. On November 16th, the 2025 Guangzhou International Light Festival opened dazzlingly on the banks of the Pearl River, and a performance formation composed of the Zhiyuan D1 EDU robot dogs became the focus of the entire event.
This swarm robot performance, jointly created by Zhiyuan Robotics and Spark Robotics, is not only the first time that a robot dog performance formation has been introduced to the Guangzhou International Light Festival, but it also sets a precedent for collaborative robot dog swarm performances in large-scale cultural and tourism activities in the industry, providing a mature solution for the large-scale application of robots in cultural and tourism scenarios.
